All candidate information is maintained in a central database for a period of three (3) years, unless an individual submits a written request for the deletion of their personal data. These records allow us to match candidate profiles with particular skill sets in the event of future recruitment requirements.

I am an Agency; do Petroineos / PetroChina accept unsolicited CV’s?
Petroineos / PetroChina, along with all its subsidiaries and joint ventures, is dedicated to directly sourcing candidates. As a result, we do not accept unsolicited CVs from recruitment agencies. We do collaborate with a select group of preferred suppliers who may be invited to assist in sourcing candidates for specific positions. However, in accordance with our Preferred Supplier List, agency fees will only be compensated when there is a signed agreement in place and the agency has been formally instructed by a member of the Petroineos / PetroChina HR Talent Acquisition team.
We do not provide agency fees for speculative or unsolicited CVs submitted to Petroineos or PetroChina, or to its employees, through any means other than our recruitment portal. If this policy is not adhered to, Petroineos / PetroChina reserves the right to reach out to these candidates directly and engage in discussions without incurring any agency fees.
